Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or record those search terms on our own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive routine technical information when a page loads, including:
- Page-view dates and times
- Your device’s IP address
- The referring site, when one is reported
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. We use them with analytics services to understand traffic in aggregate, such as popular pages and common exit points. You can block cookies through browser settings, although disabling them may change how some site features operate.
What We Do With This Data
- Route a search request to the selected partner service
- Maintain site availability and performance
- Find and correct technical problems
- Measure which pages are useful and which need improvement
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Our content identifies official Reeves County and Texas routes, including the sheriff, the criminal courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not compiled into a consumer report or a third-party criminal record.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. A query submitted through one of those tools is governed by that company’s privacy policy. We do not control a partner’s retention, processing, or disclosure choices, so review its terms before running a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Reeves County government, court portals, Texas agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination’s privacy policy controls that visit. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may track activity across websites to select ads. That processing occurs through the provider’s systems rather than ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may be disclosed to:
- Analytics providers that measure use and performance
- Search partners that process a query you submit
- Advertising networks that serve ads on the site
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use customary security measures to protect collected data. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Upon verified notice that a minor supplied such data, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Applicable law may provide rights over personal data. In Texas, the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, governs access to information held by governmental bodies, while Government Code Chapter 411 governs criminal-history dissemination and orders of nondisclosure. Those laws do not turn this private site into a government records custodian. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Ask that inaccurate personal information be corrected
- Request deletion where the law permits it
- Object to certain processing where an applicable right exists
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy. A changed version becomes available on this page and carries a new effective date, so review it periodically for current practices.
Effective date: August 9, 2026
